Baader-Canpolar Inc. has just introduced a ground-breaking
concept to the fish processing industry. With the successful launch
of the Baader BA820 Inspektor, one of the last
remaining manual processes in fish processing has
been automated. The Inspektor automatically sorts
defective fish fillets at high speeds using an intelligent camera
system and advanced image processing software. The software
communicates with mechanical sorting arms that remove defective
fillets from the processing line.
The first of a series of
automatic sorters for natural foods (unprocessed
meat and fish); the Inspektor was designed specifically for Alaskan
Pollock. It is capable of sorting 6 fillets per second and is
equipped with a Touch Screen interface that allows the operator to
adjust production, service, and quality standards.
You can
view all of the product features and specifications of the
BA820 Inspektor in the Products
section of the web site. We are currently developing other automated
sorters for natural foods such as red meat, poultry, and other
species of fish.
